About the event
Join us in spreading warmth and compassion as an EMERGE Volunteer this June, partnering with Volunteers In Service To the Elderly (VISTE) for a touching endeavor. Our mission is to deliver care packages filled with love and joy to the homebound elderly residents of Lakeland.
On the 22nd of June, at 10:00 am, gather at the VISTE building for a brief orientation. There, you'll learn about the incredible work VISTE does and the impactful programs they offer. Our simple yet profoundly meaningful goal is to entrust each volunteer with delivering care packages to 3-4 homebound elderly individuals in Lakeland.
As you bring these heartfelt packages to their doorsteps, we'll provide a small gesture of gratitude – a cup of coffee to uplift your spirits. Please note that you'll need your own transportation to be part of this significant experience.
Consider making this a family affair, inviting your children to join in the act of giving, creating cherished memories while making a positive impact in the lives of our homebound elderly neighbors.
