About the event
EMERGE Volunteers are partnering with the Center for Independent Living for a hands-on volunteer morning focused on making a real impact in Lakeland. We’ll be supporting one of their clients who is in need of critical accessibility and safety updates at his home. Due to the complexity of his disability, these improvements are essential to help him remain safe and live as independently as possible.
Volunteer projects may include:
Repairing a wooden accessibility ramp
Yardwork to improve safety and curb appeal
Pressure washing around the home
