This presents a unique occasion for us to spread happiness among Lakeland's beloved elderly residents in long-term care homes.
This initiative is particularly meaningful as it acknowledges the unique difficulties that seniors in long-term care face, especially during the holiday period when feelings of loneliness can be particularly strong. Due to limited mobility, they often feel disconnected from the relationships they once treasured. Every call, visit, or message they receive becomes a treasured moment that brightens their lives.
