Gospel Village Outreach BBQ

Gospel Inc. cultivates community among our friends on the streets and assist them through providing housing at Gospel Village and dignified income opportunities through Outreach, Permanent Supportive Housing and Micro-Enterprise. Empowering the Lakeland community in service to people experiencing homelessness.

With Gospel Inc. staff, volunteers will help with food preparation, set up the BBQ area in the allocated community area, dine with the residents, & help with cleaning. More importantly, EMERGE Volunteers will spend time interacting by dining with the formerly homeless community members, decorating cookies together, and even celebrate the January birthdays of residents with cake + song.

This is an opportunity to not only serve the homeless of our community, but to engage with them as fellow human beings reinforcing the message that the Lakeland community sees them, cares about them, and that they are not alone in their journey from homelessness.
