About the event
The Nutcracker Education Experience is a collaboration between Florida Dance Theatre (FDT), local schools, and our community, all with one special mission: to share the magic of the arts with children. Together, they’re dedicated to providing students with an immersive dance program, centered around the enchanting Nutcracker ballet. FDT’s program isn't just about dancing; it's about lighting up young hearts with the beauty of the arts, and it aims to boost their dance skills, create unique mentorship opportunities, promote health and well-being through the joy of dance, and finally, give them the unforgettable experience of performing alongside FDT's professional company.
Even more wonderful, a portion of the proceeds from this initiative will be reinvested in participating schools to support their summer programs and provide more opportunities for children to explore the world of the arts.
