About the event
Join us in spreading warmth and compassion as an EMERGE Volunteer this June, partnering with Volunteers In Service To the Elderly (VISTE) for a touching endeavor. Our mission is to deliver supplemental groceries to the homebound elderly residents of Lakeland.
On the 14th of June, at 9:30 am, gather at the VISTE building. There, you'll learn about the incredible work VISTE does and the impactful programs they offer. Our simple yet profoundly meaningful goal is to entrust each volunteer with delivering these supplemental groceries to 3-4 homebound elderly individuals in Lakeland.
As you bring these much-needed packages to their doorsteps, we'll provide a small gesture of gratitude – a cup of coffee to uplift your spirits. Please note that you'll need your own transportation to be part of this significant experience.
