Be part of a pawsitively rewarding experience at SPCA Florida's 5K Fundraiser at Peterson Park! Join us as a dedicated EMERGE Volunteer and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our furry friends. All proceeds from this event will go towards supporting the dogs and cats at SPCA Florida.

SPCA stands for Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. SPCA Florida is an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization in Lakeland, Florida, founded in 1979. Dedicated to improving the lives of pets and people in the community, SPCA Florida provides care, compassion, and hope to several thousand homeless pets every year. Open to the public, their Medical Center is a state-of-the-art veterinary facility that heals and helps 20,000 patients annually. Thousands more pets and people are served through their community outreach and education programs. SPCA Florida is a No-Kill organization so every donation counts in a big way.

Volunteer Opportunity: Cross Street Volunteers at SPCA's 5K Fundraiser

Time: 6:30 am to 8:30 am

Location: Peterson Park

As a Cross Street Volunteer, your role is crucial in ensuring the safety of both the enthusiastic runners and our community. Your responsibilities will include:

- Cheering on the runners with enthusiasm and positivity.

- Assisting in making sure participants safely cross the side streets during the 5K event.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a fun and vibrant event while contributing to a cause that directly benefits the well-being of dogs and cats in need. Your support will help make a significant difference in their lives.
